Rick Roseta has been practicing law in Eugene, OR since 1972. His field of expertise is the resolution of disputes and the preparation for and trial of lawsuits. Rick has tried over 400 civil jury trials in state and federal courts. He has argued a number of cases in the Oregon Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and in the Federal Appeals Courts. In more than four decades of experience, Rick has served as lead counsel on diverse cases including antitrust, health care, contract and real property disputes, professional liability, product failure, easement disputes, wood products litigation, forest fire and timber trespass, securities and accounting disputes, banking, and miscellaneous personal injuries.
Rick has been recognized for his professional excellence. In 1996, he was inducted as a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers. He is an Emeritus Advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, listed in Best Lawyers in America, and designated as a Super Lawyer in professional liability, health care and civil litigation. Since the 1970s, he has been given a “Preeminent AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, bestowed on less than 5% percent of all attorneys in the U.S.
Personal Focus:
When he’s not settling disputes, Rick serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteers in Medicine, a primary care medical clinic for low-income, medically underserved adults and their households in Lane County. He is also an active member of the City of Eugene Civilian Review Board. Rick and his wife are proud parents of two adult children and two wonderful grandchildren.
